Working with Operator
Approve, edit or skip an action
Three ways to respond to work Operator has prepared.
3 min read
Every suggested action ends in one of three decisions. This guide explains what each one does and how those decisions shape what Operator may do next.
The three decisions
- 01
Approve
Allow the prepared action to proceed as it stands.
- 02
Edit
Change the prepared action before it is executed.
- 03
Skip
Do not perform the proposed action.
Human-controlled autonomy
Every decision teaches you something about the workflow. Frequent approvals with no edits are a signal that the action type is safe to loosen. Frequent edits mean the workflow needs more context, not more autonomy.
